English as a Second Language (ESL) standard 12-hour workshop

The English as a Second Language (ESL) workshop equips local church volunteers to intentionally share the Gospel with new English speakers. It addresses these topics, as well as others:
• English classes as an intentional missions outreach
• Organizing a church ESL ministry
• Dealing with cultural misunderstanding
• Techniques for teaching English
• Planning class sessions
• Sharing the Gospel and the Bible with students.
This workshop will be led by Betsy Stamper and Avery Johnson, who has been trained through the National Literacy Missions Partnership (NLMP) and the North American Mission Board/Send Relief and is also experienced ESL ministry volunteer.

August 11 (5:30pm – 8:30pm), August 12 (5:30pm – 8:30pm), and August 13 (8:30am – 3:45pm)
