About Broken Bow
Broken Bow is a small city in southeastern Oklahoma. It’s a gateway to Beavers Bend State Park, home to black bears, bald eagles, and pine forest trails. Broken Bow Lake has islands, beaches, boat ramps, and fish such as largemouth bass. Hunters also visit the region, which bills itself as the “deer capital of the world. In recent years, Broken Bow has seen a tremendous economic boom through the development of its timber and tourism industries. Unfortunately, nearly 4 out of 5 (78%) of its people who died had a history of substance abuse. Also, nearly 25% of the population lives below the poverty line. Broken Bow is broken like the rest of us and in need of the good news of Jesus Christ! Join us as we show and share the Gospel there this summer!
