The Global Mission's office invites you to a Missions Cohort to sharpen, equip, and encourage each other in how we are sending our churches overseas in missions. This is a round-table discussion day with lunch!
Join us for a celebration of what God is doing through our Oklahoma Baptist churches as we work together to reach the nations! Make plans to attend with mission leaders from your church as we hear of opportunities to join in the work God is doing around the world. Dinner is $15. Reservations are required for everyone. We will start from the beginning and walk through the process of getting your church to the destination God is calling you to, then help you become effective while serving on the missions field. This is for church leaders who are interested in pursuing taking teams/sending members overseas to advance the Gospel who have never done this before or who have some experience and want to learn and engage with others in the state of Oklahoma. Topics that will be spoken about are below: Biblical Reasons, Developing a Team, Choosing a Location, Prepare to Get There, The Mission Work, Post Trip & Turn Around

Missions conference to engage with local church leaders and members to learn the practical, radical, and biblical ins and outs of going on short term mission trips overseas. Event will be held at Salina, First Baptist, 110 N Ross Street, Salina, OK 74365. Event site coordinator is Steve Waechter, (254) 541-5471.
Dr. Chris Martin, Director of Convention Strategies for the International Mission Board will be the guest speaker for the Global Missions Cohort at the Advance Conference. Lunch will be included with registration for this event.
