“In January, my wife and I had the privilege to join a small group on the Nicaraguan entry level mission trip. I want to share a little about the trip as well as what impact it had on us personally and how I believe it can impact you/your church.

First let me say Nicaragua is a beautiful country full of beautiful people. The ease of getting to Nicaragua from the US is very appealing. After arriving in Nicaragua we got a tour of all the different ministries that are available and we met with many of the partners living there. The possibilities are endless. My wife and I got really challenged and encouraged throughout our time. Speaking at churches, giving testimonies on the radio and visiting the English speaking school are just a few of the highlights. It brought us back to doing ministry.

I want to take some time to share our story and encourage you if you have a similar one. I have led many mission trips over the last 10 years. Many countries and continents. A sudden disruption in 2 partnerships we had as well as the Covid shut down put us in a place of apathy. We lost our connections and our possibilities were now limited. Other personal factors consumed our time and when we had time we used the excuse of no connection. God opened the door and connection to go to Nicaragua. It has rekindled our desire to GO! It also has sparked a small interest in our church which we hope to foster and grow. If you or your church has been “stuck” or wondering what can we do to get in/back in the game I encourage you to look into these entry level trips to get you going. It’s affordable, easy and will renew your call to GO!”
