Ministry stems from the life of obedient believers. These back to back breakouts dig into the basics of an obedient life in Christ. This is a general spiritual growth track for any student who feels called to vocational ministry or not.
Children / Charlie Gatton
This breakout will help students understand the basics of ministry to children and factors to consider in helping them determine their place in this vital ministry area.
Evangelism / Brian Baldwin
Being excellent at sharing your faith is absolutely essential to any ministry calling. Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced in sharing your faith, this breakout will help you be more skillful in advancing the Gospel.
Pastoral / Mark Dance
This breakout is designed for students interested in knowing more or exploring a call to pastoral ministry.
God’s Call in God’s Word / Dr. David Gambo
Being “called” to something can be defined differently by various people in various ways. But what does the Bible actually say about being called? This breakout will help you take a deep dive in to God’s word to gain a biblical understanding of God’s calling.
Leading Those Called / Heath Tucker
How to effectively lead and disciple those who are called into ministry. This breakout is for parents and youth leaders.
Missions / Rwema Ndamiye Kibibi
What does it look like to surrender to the call of missions ministry hear, near, and far? How can you be obedient to that call as the Lord reveals what His plan looks like in one’s life?
Ministry is not always limited to traditional church settings. This breakout will challenge students to consider ministry outside the box as they pursue the calling of God on their lives.
Small Town Ministry / James Swain
Small towns are big mission fields in our area. Many face brokenness and pain that only the gospel can solve. This breakout will inspire and equip you to effectively minister in rural areas.
The Way God Calls / Dr. Jeff Iorg
God’s call is sure and secure no matter how communicates it to us. He has different ways of calling in various circumstances and seasons of life. This breakout will help you listen carefully and say yes to God’s calling in your life.
Women & Ministry / Sarah Wooten
What does ministry as a woman look like? This breakout will help girls understand their place in the “Universal set” of ministry.
Worship / Brady Paul
Ministry in and to the church can take on many creative expressions. This breakout will look into ministry through musical worship and help students consider ministry thru other creative arts.
Youth / Todd Sanders
Ministry to students is important work at a critical stage in the life of a teenager. This breakout will help students know about the main reasons for and principles of ministry to youth age students.
What to expect
Confirm / Grow / Follow
The Call is designed for individuals who are exploring or pursuing a call from God to ministry leadership. We encourage middle school, high school, and college students, who feel that God may be calling them into ministry to attend. The Call Conference will also serve to encourage and train parents and leaders in churches to mentor emerging ministry leaders. The conference will offer students three large-group sessions and multiple breakout sessions geared toward helping them recognize and put into practice God’s call on their lives. Also, we offer a special spiritual growth track for students as well!
