This fall, we’re heading to New York City to partner with local churches that are deeply rooted in their communities and passionate about reaching people from every background imaginable—different cultures, races, religions, and life stories all woven together in one place.
And we’re not going just to see the city… we’re going to serve it.
Each day will bring new opportunities to jump in and make an impact. You might find yourself:
- Leading ministry in local parks
- Serving alongside church teams on hands-on projects
- Helping with food distribution to families in need
- Investing in neighborhoods through beautification efforts
- Prayer walking through the city streets
- Having real, meaningful gospel conversations with people from all walks of life

Unique History
NYC is the backdrop to some of our nation’s greatest triumphs and most devastating tragedies. The people here are among the most diverse in the world, but they all have the same basic needs in common: to have hope, to find purpose, to be loved.
Our Focus
We will work alongside North American Mission Board church planters from Oklahoma serving in New York City to advance the kingdom through community projects, street evangelism, and local church events.

What will we do?
- Serve and share the Gospel in the Jamaica Queens District.
- The team will have the privilege to start and build connections within the community, including going to businesses and having conversations with business owners.
- Community engagement through park ministries for families and children in the evenings.
- Assist in language classes and citizenship classes that the church provides.
- Partner with a local school to do camp outreach.
How to pray:
- Pray for safety as we travel and work.
- Pray for the Holy Spirit to prepare the hearts of the people in New York City to receive the Good News.

Pray for boldness for our team as we share the saving power of the Gospel & to work well with one another.
- Pray for opportunities and wisdom to share the Gospel in a way that focuses on a real relationship with Jesus, not just religion.
- Pray for the homeless population in New York City, that access to safe shelters and food becomes more available.

Pray for a move of God throughout a city of such diverse cultural backgrounds, pray for revival in a city of lost people searching for truth.
